ICU & Drumming Workshop
Led by Hope Engel, an Indigenous community educator, storyteller, and advocate rooted in Turtle Clan teachings and Indigenous worldviews. Through ceremony, storytelling, and holistic practice, the workshop explores interconnectedness, healing, and community well-being. Grounded in culture, creativity, and relational learning, this experience celebrates connection through rhythm, knowledge, and shared humanity.
Opening Ceremonies with Clarence - Oh, Canada by Sarah Gylin Idos
The festival will begin with Opening Ceremonies led by Clarence Cachagee from Chapleau Cree First Nation. Through prayer, song, and smudging, Clarence will welcome the community into a weekend of culture, connection, and reflection. An author and founder of Crow Shield Lodge, he is widely recognized for his work in Indigenous healing and community leadership.
Raizzon and Sarah
They are a musical duo whose shared passion for music has shaped their journey on and off the stage. Having performed at numerous events and competitions, they are known for their strong vocals, smooth harmonies, and natural chemistry. Through a blend of musical styles, they aim to create meaningful moments, connect with audiences, and express the deeper purpose behind their passion.
Vietnamese Line Dance
Presented by the KWGC Vietnamese Association, this performance showcases the energy and community spirit of its Line Dance participants. Since 2008, the association has supported Vietnamese communities across Waterloo and Guelph-Wellington while celebrating Vietnamese culture and connection through community programming and performance.
Aranya Belly Dance
Aranya Belly Dance is a Kitchener-based studio led by Dhara, specializing in belly dance, Middle Eastern folkloric dance, and Indian fusion styles. Rooted in artistic growth, inclusivity, and cultural celebration, the studio creates welcoming spaces for dancers and audiences alike. Aranya is the only studio in Waterloo Region dedicated to teaching these dance forms.

KW Women Club
Founded in 2003, KW Women Club is a non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization created by Chinese women in the Waterloo Region. The club promotes healthy living, cultural arts, fitness, and meaningful social connection. Through community engagement and cultural programming, it serves as a bridge between its members and the wider region.
Levant & Workshop
Levant Canada is a Waterloo-based non-profit supporting newcomers from the Middle East and North Africa through cultural diversity and artistic expression. Their presentation features Dabke, a traditional Levantine folk dance known for its energetic footwork, unity, and celebratory spirit. This interactive workshop invites participants to experience the joy and heritage of Levantine culture through movement.
KW Royal Scottish Country Dance Society
The Kitchener-Waterloo Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society has been active since 1960, sharing the tradition and joy of Scottish Country Dancing. Open to all experience levels, the group welcomes participants regardless of background or dance experience. Their performances celebrate community, movement, and Scottish cultural heritage
Radha Dance Group
The Radha Dance Group presents Bharatanatyam, a classical dance form from Tamil Nadu known for expressive storytelling, intricate footwork, and spiritual themes. Their performance features a medley honoring Hindu deities including Lord Ganesha, Lord Krishna, and Goddess Lakshmi. Through dance, the group celebrates culture, tradition, and decades of contribution to the Waterloo Region community.
Nepalese Canadian Community WR
The Nepalese Canadian Community of Waterloo Region brings together members of the Nepali community through cultural, social, and educational activities. Dedicated to heritage preservation, wellness, and community support, the organization also assists families, newcomers, and local businesses connected to Nepali culture. Their work celebrates identity, connection, and community growth
Gwan Move
Gwan Move Community is an interactive Soca fitness experience that combines movement, wellness, and Caribbean celebration. Through music, dance, and community engagement, the group promotes health, networking, and cultural connection. Their high-energy performances create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all.

OBYEDNANI (UNITED)
They are an Ukrainian dance collective based in the Kitchener–Waterloo region, uniting artists passionate about culture, movement, and community. Blending traditional Ukrainian dance with contemporary performance, the group creates dynamic and emotionally engaging stage experiences. Through performances and community events, they celebrate Ukrainian heritage while connecting with diverse audiences.
Intensely Irish
Intensely Irish is a recreational Irish dance group from In.Motion Dance in Kitchener. Known for blending traditional favourites with contemporary pieces, the group shares its passion for Irish dance with audiences across the community. They offer both recreational and competitive programs for children and youth of all ages.
PCCM Folklore Dance Group
Since 1987, the PCCM Folklore Dance Group has celebrated the diverse traditions of Portuguese folklore through dance, music, and song. Featuring live musicians and singers, the group delivers vibrant performances that reflect the richness of Portuguese cultural heritage. Among their achievements is participation in a Guinness World Record, highlighting their enduring passion and community spirit.
KW Breakers
Established in 2022, KW Breakers is a collective of top breakers from the Kitchener-Waterloo region, each bringing their own distinctive style and technique. The crew performs, competes, teaches, and hosts breaking events while sharing the artistry, athleticism, history, and culture of breaking. Their mission is to grow and strengthen the local breaking scene through community engagement and performance.
Joshua Pascua
Joshua Pascua is a Filipino-Canadian artist known for soulful, funky sounds inspired by R&B, soul, disco, and funk music. With catchy melodies, a dynamic stage presence, and interactive performances, he creates memorable experiences that keep audiences moving and engaged. His performances blend strong vocals, audience participation, and infectious energy.
Conexion Latina
Founded in 2020 in Waterloo, Conexion Latina is a high-energy Latin music band bringing together musicians from across Latin America and Canada. Their diverse backgrounds create a vibrant sound that celebrates Latin musical traditions, from Cuban salsa to Colombian cumbia. With infectious rhythms and lively performances, Conexion Latina invites audiences to get up, dance, and feel the music.
